oh yes i just had some sweeeet ideas for the rooftop access which i shall be putting down perhaps friday evening:
- slow electronic drums, not hard, actually trying to emulate real drums while still remaining electronic
- synth bass, chunky 80's style
- droney distorted guitar, through lots of reverb and filters
- vocoder! which means i will finally have some 'proper' vocals in a track
- slow guitar leads or synthy leads
i was also playing around with the idea of doing some covers of metal songs, listening to mudvayne today on the train (meeeemoriiiies) i was trying to imagine how i'd translate the parts into 'shoegazer idm' .. hehe i might try and demo that as well this weekend!

man, peter gabriel's album 'so' is so freakin' awesome on vinyl! its been produced exceptionally well, so rich, especially on red rain and sledgehammer.. not bad for $4!
70s and 80s electronic drums are all about the eq. a cr-78 could sound really awesome with some clever filter/eq action.
whats with people doing this:

hey guise, also another note i just realised that i have my dream job at 21, it feels pretty damn good to officially be able to tell people that i'm a graphic designer when they ask what i do.. z0le and i also really enjoy my work, it really cheers me up, i leave work feeling damn good, like every day..
